Jose "Jay" Gonzalez has been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2018 and has built an impressive competition record along the way, earning multiple gold medals across IBJJF, JJWL, and AZBJJL events, as well as a podium finish at Masters World Championships.

As Assistant Head Coach, Jay oversees Snowflake Jiu-Jitsu's ESA Program and plays a key role in student development. His teaching style combines strong fundamentals with modern ecological training methods, creating an engaging learning environment that helps students build confidence and develop practical skills.

A husband of 15 years and father of six, Jay is passionate about helping students grow both on and off the mats. His commitment to teaching, mentorship, and continuous improvement makes him an invaluable part of the Snowflake Jiu-Jitsu team.
